Seminole Neighborhood Policing Region

- Sheriff's Office Main Administration Building
- North Region, Heathrow, Sanford, Lake Mary, Longwood, Midway
- East Region, Casselberry, Chuluota, Fern Park, Geneva, Maitland, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Winter Park
- South Region, Altamonte Springs, Area West of I-4 in Southwestern Seminole County, Fern Park, Maitland, Wynnwood
City-County Investigative Bureau

Juvenile Crime Enforcement and Intervention
Provides a concentrated agency-wide focus on juvenile crime prevention and intervention in areas such as Drug abuse and resistance education, gang suppression, School Resource Deputies, and Youth Deputies.
Special Operations Division
Provides specialized equipment and technically skilled personnel to support the enforcement and investigative objectives of the Sheriff's Office. This division also coordinates the Government Reutilization Program. In addition, the division includes Air Operations, K-9, Emergency Management, Range and Water, Dive Team, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and Special Weapons and Tactics.
Forensic Services Division
Forensic Servics is charged with crime scene analysis, maintaining evidence pending trial, and latent print identification.
Crime Scene Investigation and Property/Evidence Section
This section is staffed with civilian crime scene analysts (CSA's) who respond to scenes and document, collect, preserve, and process evidence.
It is also staffed with civilians who maintain all evidence pending trial and any found property where ownership is unknown. The medical liaison investigator is concurrently assigned to this unit.
Latent Print Section
The Latent Print Section maintains all fingerprint files and processes requests for latent print comparisons and identifications. These civilians also make entries into the automated fingerprint identification system, Biometric Identification Solution (BIS).
Armory
The section manager has the collateral duty of being the custodian of the Sheriff's Office armory.
Community Volunteer Program
Because civilian volunteers serve as a valuable resource in emergencies and in supplementing day-to-day operations of the Sheriff's Office, it is Sheriff's Office policy to use them in non-tactical law enforcement related support services. Volunteer service is rendered out of a spirit of community pride and teamwork by helping Sheriff's Office employees in providing quality law enforcement service. All applicants will be fingerprinted, photographed, and asked to furnish driver's license information and successfully pass a background records investigation which includes local, state, and Federal criminal history; driver's license, and Computerized Voice Stress Analysis. The Federal criminal history investigation includes a fingerprint check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C. Once the background check is completed, applicants will be placed in an area consistent with your background and desires, and needs of the Sheriff's Office. Once placed, volunteers will work under the supervision of the supervisor or manager of the area to which they have been assigned.
In order to be a more effective member of the Sheriff's Office, a complete understanding on how each element within the agency and how the agency functions as a whole is required. All volunteers must complete the 15 week Community Law Enforcement Academy. Volunteer applications are provided in the sixth week of the Academy.
Once the Academy is completed, applicants may be eligible for Special Investigations, Special Projects, Property Recovery, Secretarial/Reception Assistants, Citizens on Patrol, Parking Enforcement Specialist, Volunteer Search and Rescue, Process Server, Traffic Crash Investigator, Chaplain Corps, Corrections Assistants, and data entry.
