Mihai Arnauta is a single state offender with arrests in Florida for Possession of Tools for Credit Card Machine Plates, Fraud/Swindle, Fraud/Impersonate and Larceny.
A witness had advised that he saw the 2 subjects Puflene and Arnauta remove something from the ATM machine and then flee in a 2002 silver Ford Econoline van, with Florida Tag D795DT. Officers stopped the van and observed a suspicious metal on the floor of the vehicle. Upon further search of the van, officers located a metal faceplate, metal card insert, tape measure, double-sided tape, super glue, a GPS unit and a digital camera. Several surrounding ATM’s were checked and were found to have a glue-like residue around the card readers. The GPS device that was located in the van had approximately 25 other ATM locations stored. The locations of the banks include Delary Beach, Boca Raton, Tamarac, Miami, Fort Myers, Naples and Bonita Springs. The camera had 19 other images of ATM machines (unknown locations). Both subjects are from Romania.
