Elizabeth Rich is in custody in Phoenix, Arizona since June of 2008 when she attempted to flee a Police Officer while he was trying to remove her from her car to arrest her. She took off and dragged the officer a mile by rolling up the window with his arm caught inside. She then sideswiped parked cars in an attempt to get the Police Officer off the car. On November 3, 2009, Rich was sentenced to 16 years in Arizona Department of Corrections for this crime and an outstanding theft and credit card fraud warrant which she was originally to be arrested for.
