Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Comment

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public comments on the Sheriff’s application for grant funding under the Department of Justice, Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant program. As one of its many elements, the Recovery Act provides the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) with funding for grants to assist state, and local law enforcement (including support for hiring), to improve the functioning of the criminal justice system. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office will utilize this funding to hire a School Resource Deputy.

We welcome your comments on our application for the grant funding.
