Seminole County Sheriff's Office Home Security Assessments (September 8, 2009)  
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office offers free home security assessments to any Seminole County resident. The assessments are designed to identify weaknesses in a home and then provide suggestions to homeowners on how to remedy them. The end result is that citizens are less likely to be victimized because their homes are better protected and provide less of a target to potential criminals.
     
Seminole County Sheriff's Office & National Night Out (September 8, 2009)  
Each year the Seminole County Sheriff's Office participates in the National Night Out event. This event is intended to get communities to interact with each other while also learning valuable crime prevention techniques.
