SCSO Detectives Investigating Sexual Battery Incident on Seminole Wekiva Trail
Seminole Co. Fla., (August 18, 2025) – SCSO Detectives are actively investigating a sexual battery that occurred earlier today in unincorporated Altamonte Springs. At approximately 4:00 p.m., a female victim was walking northeast along the Seminole Wekiva Trail near the intersection of State Road 434 and Douglas Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male who had an electric scooter in his possession. The suspect dragged the victim toward the woodline of the trail. A nearby citizen heard her cries for help, located her, and immediately called 911....
